McDonald's Restaurant
Orange, CA
The Project
French fries and feng shui merged in a futuristic McDonald’s restaurant in Orange, California. A world-renowned company that specializes in offering customers tasty meals in a welcoming atmosphere, McDonald’s has become globally synonymous with good eats and good times.
This particular restaurant, located in Orange, California, has taken it upon itself to not only shoulder the responsibility of upholding the McDonald’s name, but also up the ante by adding an extra dimension of pizzazz to their futuristic store: LED lighting.
One month after the Zen-like location first opened its LED-laced interior to the public, sales have increased by 25%.
Not only can customers munch on their Big Mac value meals in a sci-fi, space-lounge setting, they can catch a glimpse of some stunning science fact: the wonder of LEDs. In a world obsessed with expendability and waste, this revolutionary McDonald’s reflects a practical eye for cost-efficiency as well as a nature-minded sensibility with textured, wave-like wall patterns accented with subtle splashes of LED light.
LED*Waves' Involvement
LED*Waves provided LED Neon Rope Light, which helped to accentuate the cherry-red columns, as well as Flex II track lighting system that features LED MR-16 bulbs, which provide energy-efficient, indirect ambient lighting.
Teaming up to light a futuristic franchise of the world's largest hamburger chain is just one more way in which LED*Waves is changing the world - one bulb (and burger) at a time.
