Illuminating Engineering Society selects three LED Waves products for its 2008 Progress Report

Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) has selected three LED Waves products for its 2008 Progress Report that recognizes unique and significant advancements to the art and science of lighting: our PAR30 14-Watt, PAR20 8-Watt and MR-16 5-Watt LEDs.
Each year, IES Progress Report Selections are the highest accolade a light manufacture can receive for its products. The 2008 Selections were carefully chosen by a Committee of more than 25 experts from all aspects of the lighting industry. LED Waves is honored to have been recognized for our cutting edge LED bulbs.
Established in 1906, the non-profit IES is one of the most prestigious learned societies in North America. IES' mission is to improve the lighted environment by bringing together those with lighting knowledge and by translating that knowledge into actions that benefit the public.
LED Waves' Involvement
LED Waves exclusively manufactures its three LED Selections from IES' 2008 Progress Report, all powered by bright and long-lifed Cree XLamp XREs that are housed in durable aluminum casing.
Each of the Selections is available in warm, neutral and cool options and has a lifespan rating of 80,000 hours. The innovative LED technology maximizes light output while consuming a fraction of the energy of more traditional incandescent or halogen lights.

Rhodes PAR-30 14-Watt LED Light Bulb w/ Cree XLamp XRE LEDs

Olympia PAR-20 8-Watt LED Light Bulb w/ Cree XLamp XRE LEDs
The PAR-20 8-Watt LED Light Bulb has plug and play compatibility that is ideal for worldwide use. The PAR20's three 3-watt Cree XLamp XREs creates 500 lumens of cool light and 400 lumens of warm light, a trifecta of radiance courtesy of LED Waves.
Athens MR-16 5-Watt LED Light Bulb w/ Cree XLamp XRE LEDs
Our MR-16 LED Light Bulb can replace a 35-watt halogen bulb and consume only 5-watts of power. This all-purpose bulb is usable with any low-voltage fixture or system that uses a DC or magnetic transformer - adaptability and efficiency only possible in a LED!
