Eskimix

The Project
At the corner of Grove and Bleecker in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, there's an igloo called Eskimix. Health-conscious penguins, polar bears and Village-dwellers, lulled by a luminous "Eskimix" sign, wander into the shop's cozy cabin. Minutes later, they skate away... toting fro-yos and healthy glows!
With a flurry of probiotic frozen yogurts eski-mixed with fruit, nut, and candy toppings, Eskimix's charming interior features an arched ceiling made of "ice blocks," snowflake-flecked walls, and cavernous lighting straight from the North Pole.
For sweet- (and tart-) toothed guests, yogurt machines that resemble spiraled ice drills dispense blended treats with such names as "Peanut Power" and "Chockie, Cookie Mint Mint."
JKB Services was contacted to design and fabricate a custom sign to draw people in off the street.
LED*Waves' Involvement
LED*Waves provided JKB Services with white Broadway LED Light Bars that illuminate the store's combination window sign and bar counter like a jumbo glowing waffle cone. Inside, eski-guests set their frosty delights on the LED-lined table, attracting more frozen dessert lovers like arctic trekkers to a blazing campfire.
At Eskimix flavor boutique, the smoothies are low-calorie, and the LEDs - low-energy!
