Aerion Corporation Exhibit
Orlando, FL
The Project
Aerion Corporation, founded by billionaire Robert Bass, is an advanced aerospace corporation based in Reno, Nevada that develops and manufactures supersonic business jets with a boomless design. CEOs and other business leaders can zip cross-country in quiet luxury, inside 30-foot cabins lined with LCD “thin-film” lighting for soothing ambience and personalized comfort zones previously available only in super-midsize jets.
With an $80 million price tag for each Aerion SBJ jet, Aerion’s showcase exhibit at the annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) in Orlando, Florida needed to be bold, sophisticated, and aesthetically aerodynamic. With an LED-twist, Aerion’s sleek maroon letters were accented with a lucent white three-dimensional glow, harkening to jets blazing across the heavens.
LED*Waves’ Involvement
LED*Waves, working with lighting designer Steve Flickinger, provided Aerion Corporation with white Mississippi LED Signage that added a supersonic sparkle around the aerospace company’s streamlined company lettering. Blasting the exhibit into a stratosphere of elegance are 38-inch segments of LED linear lighting that have a streamlined profile ideal for any showcase signage needing stealth-like illumination.
At NBAA, 30,000 attendees used to flying past exhibits at Mach 1 screeched to a halt at Aerion’s exhibit, captivated by an LED*Waves air and light show that is razzling, dazzling, and First Class.
